What is the best trip you have?
All of the places we book are Outdoor Expeditions Certified. There are so many great options to hunt and fish. A certain trip may be your best bet one week, but a completely different excursion may be the ultimate option the following week, due to weather, water levels, and other factors. Logistics also pay a big part in whether a trip is best for you. Of course many factors are involved: cost, ease of travel, species desired, time of year, type of fishing or hunting you prefer (spin vs. fly, gun vs. bow, etc.). All of these factors are taken into consideration before we recommend the very best place for you.

What do I need to bring along?
During the planning and decision process of each trip, we'll discuss what special equipment (if any) you will need to bring along, and what gear will be supplied as part of the trip package. We'll also talk about meals, fishing or hunting licenses, passports, types of clothing to pack, and other extras.

Will Outdoor Expeditions be expanding its inventory?
Absolutely! We are always on the lookout for what's new and hot in outdoor travel. As we find new and exciting destinations, we will update our trip information online.

Does Outdoor Expeditions promote specific lodges?
No. OE recommends lodges and outfitters that are proven. If we feel a previously good destination has gone through changes compromising the quality of the experience, we will recommend another location that will better serve our clients. We work for the customer, not the lodges or outfitters.

How do I book a trip?
Peruse our offerings here in the website, or in our destination catalog. Then, call us. You will be directed to the travel specialist that is most familiar with your area of interest. After discussing the different options and features, you can narrow down the location that best fits your wants and needs, then choose the dates you'd like to travel. Our travel representative will reserve your dates and request a deposit from you to hold your reservation. Details will then follow.

How & when do I pay for my trip?
You can pay for your trip by check or credit card (MC, Visa, AMEX, Discover). The Initial deposit is due within 10 days of booking, with the balance due 60 days prior to departure. For deposit amounts and cancellation policies, OE follows individual lodge policies. Please call for specific lodge policies.

How far in advance do I need to book a trip?
The lead-time for booking varies from trip to trip. We operate on a first come, first served basis, but when availability of a particular lodge is exhausted, we will do our best to find you a very similar experience or lodge in the same general location. It is best to call and book your trip as soon as possible to help ensure availability of your desired dates. Many satisfied customers simply book their return trip for next year shortly after returning from their current vacation.
